Its compact and domed bonnet, its
large headlights covered in smooth clear glass, combine with its
wide cowl to express dynamism and ruggedness.
Seen sideways, its fluid lines
increase the feeling of dynamism. First, with a rising line
stretching from the headlight to the rear of the vehicle, which
lengthens the C8. By an enveloping line, arc-shaped, from the
windscreen post to the rear end of the roof. These two lines
frame the very large window surface. The windscreen's curve has
structured the posts, creating a rupture with the bonnet.
The dashboard's style is completely innovative that makes it
stand out from the rest and synthesizes modernity and
well-being. Its original architecture comprises an arch and
centrally-located instruments.
The instruments are organised around a 3-sphere instrument
cluster at the centre of the dashboard and a display located
just below. They show the vehicle speed, rpm counter, fuel
level... The 3-sphere display uses ground-breaking pointer dials
technology. The numbers and scales are screen-printed on the
unpolished glass covers of the dials. The entire surface of the
Caribbean green combination lights up at night to create a
lighting by silhouette.
A multi-function display on the steering column and therefore
adjustable both by height and depth with the wheel, groups the
signaling information, the totals, the maintenance and oil level
indicators and, for automatic transmission models, a reminder of
the gear in use.
The C8 has two side sliding doors giving ideal access and making
it possible to open the doors in all circumstances.
The Citroën C8 can adopt multiple configurations, up to 8 seats
in 3 rows, according to the number of passengers and the
vehicle's intended use. The dashboard mounted gear lever, the
perfectly flat floor and the handbrake moved to the left of the
driver's seat make it easy to move around the C8.
